Sakarya University (Sakarya Üniversitesi) is a prestigious state university located in Sakarya, northwestern Türkiye, about an hour and a half from Istanbul. Founded in 1970 as an Academy of Engineering and Architecture, it became an independent university in 1992 under Law No. 3837. .

  5. University Proficiency (To be determined)
  6. A book proving that your previous studies were in English 100% (To be determined)

One of the following certificates is accepted for exemption from the English language:

This is a condition required by some Turkish universities. It is approximately one to two pages long, in which you explain the reason for choosing Turkey in general and the university in particular, and what research you intend to study at the university, etc. It must be in English.

  • TR-YÖS (Medicine and Dentistry 400 at least, Computer Science, Law, Architecture, Visual Design and Management Information Systems majors 350, Engineering majors 300 at least, other Bachelor’s majors 200 at least, Institutes 150 at least)

 

  • SAT (From both the reading, writing and mathematics tests, you must obtain:
  • Minimum 640 points To apply to Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry
  • Minimum 560 points For programs Engineering and Architecture
  • Minimum 480 points For programs Other Bachelor's
  • Minimum 320 points For programs Diploma (Pre-Bachelor's)

 

  • High school certificate 
  • Medicine and Dentistry are not eligible to apply.
  • At least 85% For admission to programs Engineering and Architecture
  • At least 70% For admission to programs Other Bachelor's
  • At least 60% For admission to programs Diploma (Pre-Bachelor's)

 

*TR-YÖS score will be taken without reduction.

*The SAT score will be multiplied by 0.9.

*The high school grade will be multiplied by 0.7.

*Syrian, Azerbaijani, and Afghan high school certificates cannot be applied for.
